My old coffee maker died on me, so I've been on the hunt for a great replacement.I didn't want to spend too much, and am a coffee conneisseur.In the directions, it said to brew a pot of coffee (just water no grounds) to clean it from dust from the factory.I did this and then brewed a pot of coffee shortly afterwards.The first pot was awful; it tasted like plastic.I then rinsed/cooled all of the plastic parts of the coffee maker to free it of the plastic smell.I let it sit for 30 minutes.My second pot of coffee was equally awful.I bet my pot of coffee tomorrow will be bad too.I was hoping for a great product, but this one really made a bad cup of coffee.I can't believe it.
