I love perculator coffee makers because you get HOT coffee. I had a different brand that had some poorly designed features. What I really like about this West Bend pot is the water level indicator, (although it starts at 8 cups). The only wierd problem is that every 10 min. or so it momentarily starts re-perking, to keep the coffee warm.
